Sheldon Gales Jr., a 21-year-old African American male from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was tragically shot and killed on August 3, 2022. The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. in the 5500 block of Dutton Avenue. Sheldon was pronounced dead at the scene. The Baton Rouge Police Department is actively investigating this deadly shooting, and the case remains open. Authorities have urged anyone with information to contact the Violent Crimes Unit or Crime Stoppers.
