In the pre-dawn hours of an early autumn day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of Anthony Thomas was cut short by gunfire. On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, the 40-year-old male was shot and killed in a violent encounter that unfolded in the 1700 block of N. 36th Street.
