In the late hours of Valentine's Day in 2014, the life of Reginald LaFrance, a 32-year-old man, was tragically cut short on the streets of New Orleans. The incident occurred on Friday, February 14, 2014, in the 7th Ward, where LaFrance was fatally shot. He was a Black male. The New Orleans Police Department responded to the scene at 2840 Pauger Street and launched a homicide investigation into the shooting.
