In the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans, a heated argument tragically escalated, leading to the death of 31-year-old Joshua 'Mission' Bates on January 27, 2021. A male, Bates was fatally shot during the dispute. The man identified as the shooter was Caeszerine 'Moe' Thompson, the brother of Bates' girlfriend. The altercation that ended a life began as a simple disagreement, but quickly spiraled out of control.
