Korey Reed, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 26, 2014, in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Charbonnet Street. Reed's death was the result of a shooting, and the case quickly drew the attention of both the New Orleans Police Department and the FBI.
