In the autumn of 2016, the life of 18-year-old Bobby Evans, a Black male from Shreveport, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. On Monday, October 3, 2016, what began as a response to a report of a man with a gunshot wound to the hand in the 1200 block of Travis Street led to a grim discovery. While investigating that incident, a resident of the neighborhood alerted officers to a deceased person behind a nearby building.
