Dondre Turner, a 24-year-old African American male from Houma, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2016. The incident occurred during a suspected drug deal that went awry. Turner was shot and subsequently pronounced dead at University Medical Center in New Orleans. The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office reported that the shooting took place near Livas Lane and West Park Avenue, where Turner was found in a vehicle that had crashed into a shallow bayou.
