Datrell Woods, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2003, in Houma, Louisiana. His death was later linked to Ronald Joseph Dominique, a serial killer known as 'The Bayou Strangler.' Dominique targeted young men and boys, predominantly African American, between 1997 and 2006. Woods was one of Dominique's victims, and his murder was part of a series of killings that shocked the state of Louisiana.
