In the small community of Moreauville, Louisiana, a day spent between two good friends ended in a tragedy that would forever alter the course of their lives. On the evening of November 21, 2017, 19-year-old Jake Ducote, a male, was fatally shot at a residence he shared with his girlfriend. The person responsible for the shooting was his close friend, Jesse E. Ducote. The two young men had spent the day together, running errands and firing Jesse's recently purchased AR-15 rifle.
