Joshua Everett Norris, a 22-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2007, in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Norris, who served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, was responding to a domestic disturbance call involving gunfire in the 200 block of Southwood Drive in Gretna.
