In the late afternoon of Thursday, February 19, 2026, a quiet street in the Cambridge Subdivision of La Place, Louisiana, became the scene of a sudden and violent end to two young lives. Inside a Toyota Camry, 17-year-old Gerard Garrett and 18-year-old Daniel Robles De Medina were involved in a deadly altercation that left both of them fatally wounded.
