On the evening of Wednesday, December 17, 2025, a violent encounter in LaPlace, Louisiana, resulted in the death of a teenage boy and injuries to two young men. Authorities responded to a distress call shortly before 7:00 p.m. regarding a shooting in the Cambridge subdivision. Upon arriving at the 3100 block of English Colony Drive, deputies from the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office discovered a chaotic scene indicating a transaction that had turned deadly.
