A Sunday morning in LaPlace, Louisiana, turned tragic when a domestic dispute over breakfast escalated into a fatal shooting. Joshua Jones, a 23-year-old Black male, was shot and killed in his home on East Lakeview Drive. His girlfriend, 24-year-old Tamyrihu Hubbard of Marrero, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with second-degree murder.
