Joshua Jones, a 23-year-old man from LaPlace, Louisiana, was fatally shot on the morning of February 16, 2025. Authorities responded to a residence on E. Lakeview Drive after receiving a 911 call from Tamyrihu Hubbard, a 24-year-old woman from Marrero, Louisiana, who admitted to shooting Jones in the chest. Upon arrival, deputies found Jones unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
