On April 27, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 51-year-old Reginald Riggs. The incident took place around 5 a.m. at the corner of GSRI and Jasper avenues.
Reginald Riggs, who was identified as a homeless individual, was found shot at the scene. He was subsequently taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died later that Saturday afternoon.
