A man is critically wounded leaving a bar, dies the following morning
On a Sunday evening in New Orleans, what began as a night out with others ended in tragedy for Lester J. Adams, a 42-year-old African-American man. On December 30, 2012, as Adams and several other people were leaving the Big Man's Lounge at approximately 8:30 p.m., a man who had been sitting on nearby steps suddenly opened fire on the group. In the ensuing chaos, Adams was struck by multiple bullets.
