Edrick Lee Smith, affectionately known as "E," passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 53 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on January 7, 1971, to Evangelist Ida L. Smith, he was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Edrick completed his education in the Orleans Parish Public School System, graduating from John McDonogh High School. He furthered his studies at The Trucking Institute, where he earned his Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
