In the early morning hours of September 23, 2016, the life of Nathan Adam Tinglof was cut tragically short in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 30-year-old male, known to many by his nickname 'Neight Train,' was discovered at approximately 3:15 a.m. in the 2400 block of North Villere Street in the St. Roch neighborhood. Authorities had responded to a report of shots fired in the area and found Tinglof lying facedown near a Dodge Ram truck. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Originally from Valparaiso, Indiana, Nathan was a man of adventurous spirit. After finishing school, he traversed the United States, often by foot or by hopping trains, and had visited nearly every state before choosing to make New Orleans his home. In the city he grew to love, he established his own business called 'Gutters, Homes and Gardens.' His death was a heartbreaking loss to his family, friends, and his girlfriend, Hayley Knafel.

The New Orleans Police Department has been searching for a vehicle of interest, described as a dark-colored, four-door sedan with factory rims, which they believe could be connected to the perpetrator.
