Randy Irons, age 28, was found shot to death on December 17, 2017, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His homicide occurred during a period of heightened gun violence in the city, and his death was one of many fatal shooting incidents that year. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) launched an investigation into the circumstances of Irons’ death, which took place in the Seventh District.
