Father of 8 shot and killed
Morris Bates, Sr., aged 35, was tragically shot and killed on December 12, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. in the 3100 block of General Ogden Street, near the intersection of Forshey Street. Bates was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head, and he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
