Father of 8 shot and killed
Morris Bates, Sr., aged 35, was tragically shot and killed on December 12, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. in the 3100 block of General Ogden Street, near the intersection of Forshey Street. Bates was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head, and he was pronounced dead shortly afterward. Despite efforts by law enforcement and the community, the case remains unsolved, and no suspects have been apprehended so far.
