In the early afternoon of March 23, 2017, the life of 23-year-old Anthony Kelly was tragically cut short in the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans. Responding to a call of a shooting at approximately 1:21 p.m., police discovered Kelly in the 5000 block of Louisa Drive, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was urgently transported to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he succumbed to them shortly after arrival. Anthony was a Black male and a native of New ...
