In the quiet community of Mooringsport, Louisiana, a tragedy unfolded on December 7, 2017, ending the life of 65-year-old Patricia Ann Hissom Vassar. The Caucasian female was found deceased in her residence on Scaife Road in what authorities would later determine to be a murder-suicide.
Investigations conducted by the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office led to the conclusion that Patricia's husband, Kenneth Vassar, was the sole individual responsible for her death.
Evidence from the scene indicated that Kenneth Vassar killed his wife before taking his own life.
