Anita Washington Jacobs, a 55-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on January 8, 2021, in Convent, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when deputies responded to a shooting at her residence. Upon arrival, they discovered that Anita had been fatally shot in the head.
