In the late afternoon of December 1, 2022, the life of 28-year-old Da'Ja Davis, a female resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. Concerns for her well-being arose when she failed to pick up her son from daycare, an act her mother described as entirely out of character.
