A promising life was tragically cut short on a Wednesday evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, when 15-year-old Au’mircle Mcelwee was fatally wounded in a shooting. The young female was inside her vehicle in the 5100 block of Oaklon Avenue at approximately 10 p.m. when the incident unfolded. It was reported that Mcelwee and the passengers in her car had an interaction with other individuals in the area just before the sound of gunfire pierced the night.
