On the evening of February 27, 2016, 19-year-old Jevon Tyrell Shearer was fatally shot in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The incident occurred near the 1300 block of West 20th Street, where police responded to reports of a triple shooting around 8:22 p.m. Shearer was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Two other individuals were injured in the shooting but survived.
