In the winter of 2017, the life of Monte Gilbert, a male resident of North Little Rock, Arkansas, was tragically cut short. On the night of Friday, January 20th, police were called to a residence on Division Street to investigate a double shooting. Inside, they discovered Monte Gilbert and another man, Glenn Jennings, in a bedroom, both having sustained gunshot wounds. Gilbert was pronounced dead at the scene, marking one of the city's first homicides of the year.
