Laterika Taylor, a 22-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on May 23, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Taylor was found inside a vehicle that had crashed into a ditch on Kaufman Street. The incident occurred around 2:15 AM, and Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a mother of a 4-year-old boy and a set of 2-year-old twins, and she was pregnant with her fourth child at the time of her death.
