Thomas D. Patterson, a 49-year-old man, was shot and killed in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on the evening of Wednesday, October 30, 2019. The incident occurred in the 100 block of East 5th Street, where officers from the Hattiesburg Police Department found Patterson with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
