Michael Paul McLendon, a 38-year-old male, tragically lost his life on September 7, 2018, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. His death, which was the result of a shooting, occurred in a parking lot on Hardy Street.

On that day, McLendon was with Justin Lee Anderson and Anderson's mother and stepfather. An argument reportedly took place between McLendon and Anderson. Following the dispute, Anderson fatally shot McLendon.
