A respected member of the Hattiesburg community, Kenneth W. Smith, an 81-year-old male, passed away on March 15, 2021. Known to his friends as Ken, he had a long and distinguished career in the military. Smith was a retired Colonel in the Mississippi Army National Guard and bravely served as a pilot during the Vietnam War.
