Matthew Lance "Matt" Boutwell, aged 46, passed away on June 6, 2014, in Petal, Mississippi. He was a well-respected member of the community, having served as the former director of the water and sewer system for the City of Hattiesburg and a longtime engineer for the Mississippi Department of Transportation. He was also a member of Central Baptist Church.
