Johnnie Cooper, a 20-year-old from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, was tragically found dead on the morning of September 11, 2014. His body was discovered in a drainage ditch at the Timberton Softball Complex on Helveston Road. An autopsy revealed that Cooper had been shot six times, and his death was ruled a homicide.
