In a tragic turn of events on a Wednesday afternoon in southern Forrest County, a heated argument between two men escalated into a fatal exchange of gunfire. The incident, which occurred on June 25, 2025, on Walker Road near Hattiesburg, Mississippi, resulted in the death of 59-year-old Thomas Roseberry. When deputies from the Forrest County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene following a 911 call reporting gunshots, they discovered two men with gunshot wounds.
