Jermaine Charles Chaney, a 24-year-old male, was fatally shot in New Orleans on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. The incident occurred on Elysian Fields Avenue, where he was found with a gunshot wound to the head.

Born on July 12, 1993, Jermaine was a graduate of O. Perry Walker High School. He was an entrepreneur, having founded Outchea Racing, LLC. His death was a loss to his family and friends, who remembered him as a cool guy. He was a father of three children.
