Giovanne Coleman, a 23-year-old resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, tragically lost his life due to a fatal shooting on February 22, 2024. The incident occurred on the Crescent City Connection, a major thoroughfare in New Orleans. According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), the shooting took place around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday when Coleman was driving past the Tchoupitoulas Street exit on the Crescent City Connection. Another car approached, and shots were fired, striking Coleman.
