Daniel Thomasson, a 25-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was tragically murdered on October 1, 1989, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His body was discovered along an isolated stretch of Almonaster Boulevard. Thomasson had been with three friends the night before his death, and they had lured him into a car with the promise of visiting an adult club in New Orleans East. While in the vehicle, Thomasson was shot three times and subsequently dumped on the side of the road.
