On a Saturday afternoon in Raceland, Louisiana, the life of 26-year-old Marcel Tyran Turner was tragically cut short. Just before 3 p.m. on December 15, 2018, law enforcement received a call about a shooting at a residence on Market Street. When deputies from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office arrived, they discovered Marcel in the garage of the home, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
