On May 28, 2016, Delores Alviani, aged 70, was found dead in her Bloomfield, Pittsburgh home alongside her husband, Louis Alviani, aged 79, in what authorities determined to be an apparent murder-suicide. The incident came to light following an ominous 911 call received by Allegheny County emergency dispatchers, in which the caller stated that "there will be two dead people inside."
