Niki Alen Happel, a 54-year-old woman, tragically died on August 24, 2020, in Upper St. Clair, Pittsburgh, PA. She was killed in what was determined to be a murder-suicide incident involving her estranged husband, John Happel, who was 67 years old. The couple had recently separated, and Niki had returned to their home to collect her belongings when she was shot and killed. Shortly after, John Happel took his own life.
