In the quiet community of Jackson, Louisiana, a domestic dispute on a Saturday afternoon shattered the peace and ended a life. On May 4, 2019, 55-year-old Kathy Frazier, a female resident of the town, was shot and killed. The incident, which unfolded around 3 p.m. on U.S. Hwy 6, prompted a swift response from law enforcement.
Responding to the scene, authorities discovered Frazier deceased from a gunshot wound.
The initial investigation pointed towards a domestic altercation as the motive behind the fatal shooting. The primary suspect in the case was identified as George Bailey, who, as Frazier's family later confirmed, was her husband, though they did not share the same last name.
