In what should have been a season of festive cheer, a domestic turmoil in Terrytown, Louisiana, escalated to a tragic conclusion, claiming the life of 27-year-old Tanganica Wallis. On the evening of December 26, 2017, a heated argument spiraled out of control, ending in the fatal shooting of the young mother of four. involved Wallis's mother and her ex-boyfriend. In a valiant attempt to de-escalate the situation, Tanganica intervened. It was at this juncture that the ex-boyfriend's sister, 28-year-old Raina Johnson of Harvey, allegedly brandished a firearm.
