In the early morning hours of September 29, 2022, a tragic story of jealousy and violence unfolded in a West Bank apartment, culminating in the death of Clarence Harvey. A 31-year-old man from Braithwaite, Louisiana, he was visiting his girlfriend at her apartment on Wall Boulevard in Harvey when his life was cut short. The calm of the night was shattered at approximately 12:45 a.m. by the sound of gunfire, a brutal intrusion into what should have been a place of safety and comfort.
