Death by Force

Latoya Fountain, a 33-year-old African American woman, was tragically murdered on August 10, 2015, in Gretna, Louisiana. On that fateful night, at approximately 9:30 PM, homicide investigators responded to the scene in the 2300 block of Park Place Drive, where they found Latoya suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jefferson Parish coroner's office later confirmed that Latoya died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
