Renalda Keshawn "Kookie" Variste, a 19-year-old African American woman, tragically passed away on March 13, 2014, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on July 22, 1994, Renalda was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Her untimely death left a void in the hearts of her family and community. Renalda is survived by her parents, Rinaldo Robinson and Jacqueline Variste, as well as her sisters, Jejuana and Jaranika Variste.
