Jamar Alexander Norris, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 16, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred outside the Cooper Road Plaza apartments in north Shreveport. Norris was shot twice, once in the neck and once in the stomach, during a verbal dispute with his estranged girlfriend over child custody.
