Tara Louise Wren, a 39-year-old woman from Shreveport, Louisiana, was tragically killed on June 18, 2017. On that Sunday morning, just before 6:00 a.m., Shreveport Police were called to a residence in the 3500 block of Junior Place, a home situated west of Interstate 220. Upon arrival, officers discovered a grim scene. Tara Wren was found deceased outside the home, while the body of 54-year-old Eric Cox of Keithville was located inside the residence.
Both victims had sustained at least one gunshot wound. The Caddo Parish Coroner's office later confirmed the identities of Wren and Cox.
