Etta Jean Thomas, a 46-year-old African American woman, passed away on January 16, 2010, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Her death was the result of a tragic incident that occurred at her residence in the 5700 block of Ellison Street. At approximately 3:11 a.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, they discovered Etta Jean Thomas with fatal gunshot wounds.
