Sedrick Dennis, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 23, 2020, in New Orleans, LA. The incident occurred at approximately 10:22 p.m. when the New Orleans Police Department Second District Officers responded to a call of aggravated battery by shooting at the intersection of Jeanette and Joliet Streets. Upon arrival, officers found two adult male victims, including Sedrick Dennis, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both men were declared dead at the scene.
