Dezmon Jerome "Dez" Hamilton, a 34-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 18, 2021, in Zachary, Louisiana. Hamilton, a father of four, was shot and killed in his home while confronting a 17-year-old boy, Nicholas Mcquirter, who was attempting to sneak into his 14-year-old daughter's bedroom window.
