Chadarion "Skipp" Spurlock, a 15-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 21, 2017, in Zachary, Louisiana. The incident occurred during a home burglary when Terry Flanagan, the homeowner, returned to find three teenagers, including Chadarion, allegedly burglarizing his home. Flanagan began firing shots, one of which struck Chadarion, leading to his death.
